Sietse Huisman

 

Is a Drumset Artist / producer based in the Netherlands.

Born in 1968 and with 30 years of professional experience Sietse is a well known Artist in the scene.

He has worked regularly and incidental with lots of national and international Artists and Projects like: Richard Smith, Allen Hinds, Twarres, Willeke Alberti, Rob de Nijs, 3 J’s, Nick en Simon, Boudewijn de Groot, Elske DeWall, Jan Akkerman, Clannad, Mike Stern, Selina Albright, Fox the Fox, Eugene Ruffolo and many more.

As the founder of the Collective “The Pact” Sietse is now touring all through the year with it’s members Tico Pierhagen and Ronald Jonker.

The Pact is a real representation of his Artistic Identity, and it features a diversity of International Artist who join the band during their Tours and Projects.

Personal projects:

With his band Art Attack which was founded in the year 2000, Sietse recorded two albums.

The first “Zero Visibility” and the second “Green”.

His Solo Album Mindscapes has been released in the year 2012.

 

As an endorser for Tama drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Regaltip drumsticks and Evans drumheads, Sietse also works as a clinician.

He performes drumclinics at events like the Frankfurter musik Messe, drumevents and music colleges.

Besides that Sietse is a Professor at the Academy for Popular culture in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.

Sietse owns a recording studio where he works by recording drumtracks on a freelance basis for those who need them.

Therefore he also produces and records bands and projects on a regular basis.
